RDA of Humility

Had my annual physical yesterday. Except for the usual (allergies, arthritis and gut trouble) the doctor told me I'm in fine health.

Naturally, I awoke a little after seven this morning, feverish, sweating and with some impressive cramps. I was also very, very dry, probably from a combination of sweating and being overheated.



Naturally, this was one of those mornings when the water softener dumped a load of salt. I had to wait several minutes to get salt-free water, both to slake my thirst and take my medicine.

I think the cause was some almond M&Ms I had late last night.

Buh?!

Police in Albuquerque arrested a University of New Mexico student on suspicion of illegal possession of guns on campus. Someone reported that they had heard him talking about the Columbine and other school massacres. Police didn't find any guns in his apartment, but they found evidence that guns "had once been there." They also seized firearms from the home of a relative living nearby.

Huh? I'm hoping they had more cause than that. Unless there's firmer evidence found, this just begs for a civil rights lawsuit.
