The Kentucky Division of Environmental Analysis is just up the hall from where I work. It must be fun working someplace where you can hear phrases like "Don't stand there holding the refrigerator door open! The bats will wake up!" ;-)

Stupid Driver Tricks

During lunch I was sitting on a side street at a red light, first in line, when a woman made a left turn from the cross street. She had her cell phone in her left hand, and was just talking up a storm. And barely made the turn, 'cause she was only using her right hand to turn the wheel and had it over as far as she could reach which almost wasn't enough. And never stopped talking.

I made a slight mistake this afternoon. I recently bought some snack bars to try; New Millennium Bars come in lemon, vanilla and coconut that I know of, and taste pretty good. I tried the coconut this afternoon, and about two-thirds through realized I was full. Uncomfortably full, in fact. I checked the wrapper, and realized they weren't snack bars, they were _food_ bars. With over 400 kcal each.

Oh well; I was planning to treadmill after work anyway. ;-)
