Bird Brained Cats

Got up a bit earlier than planned this morning. Kept hearing mysterious thumping noises in the basement. As expected, the cats had brought in a bird. A very large and panicked blackbird. I managed to get it out with little trouble, but then couldn't get back to sleep. Since I plan to go to Lexington early today there won't be much chance for a nap this afternoon.

Oh, well...
