Political Atmosphere

One odd phenomenon I noted was that the more outrageously the fictional politicians behaved, the more people praised me for my realistic portrayal of politics.

I suspect many people in the US are currently very cynical about politics right now.

Folks, I survived Nixon. Boosh hardly registers on that scale.

Yeah, but it was living through Nixon that *made* us cynical about politicians.

I think Nixon just popped the lid off politics and let everyone see what a mess it really is-kinda like opening that mysterious Tupperware container that's been in the fridge a looong time....the rest of the world just keeps the lid on their messes a little better,maybe..Scott
