It's Curtains!

stickmakerFinally got down the last of the old curtains which came with my house. These were on the enclosed back porch, which I use mostly for book cases and storage. However, with those curtains down I needed to put up roller shades. I started on those last week. Unfortunately, Lowes only had *two* of what I wanted in stock. I was assured there would be some coming in on the evening shipment. However, six days later they still didn't have any.
Yesterday I gave up on Lowes and stopped at the nearby K-Mart. They had darker shades for a slightly higher price (and much cheaper than the darker shades at Lowes) in stock. I bought what I needed and installed them yesterday afternoon.
Today that sun porch is much cooler (and darker). It really helps keep the back part of the house more comfortable, now.
Just in time for the LexFA meeting this coming Sunday!
