Chase Visa
Sep. 24th, 2009 10:58 amI received an e-mail this morning to log into my account for a message about their mistake. Only, when I tried I discovered that I was locked out of my account.
Right. Paying off the balance next month and cutting up the card.

Date: 2009-09-24 09:27 pm (UTC)Not to that point, yet, but definitely something to keep in mind. I was planning to do this early next year - take a loan at 5% interest on my 401k to pay off the balance. This just adds incentive to do that sooner.
It went through as $15. I can easily see how the mistake was made and that's not really the problem. The problem is that Chase has no mechanism for even reporting this sort of mistake, and seems actively working against helping me with it.
