Due to mild temperatures and lots (and lots and lots and lots...) of rain, the mold spores have been bad lately. This is probably the main cause for my feeling sick much of the weekend. I have a HEPA filter on my HVAC system, but it wasn't running. Last night I started clogging and sneezing pretty severely. I used a considerable amount of medicine - spray decongestant, prescription nasal spray antihistamine, oral stuff - to little avail. (I take shots, but they just don't work well against mold spores.) Was still miserable when I went to bed. I sneezed five times during the first few minutes, and had to get up and blow my nose three times.

The rain continued during the night, but the temperature dropped. Finally, the furnace came on and filtered the air, and the molds quit trying to reproduce. Somewhere in the wee hours I became comfortable and began to sleep soundly.

Today I'm much better, except for being sleepy. Will likely nap after lunch.
