iMovie Update
Sep. 14th, 2012 10:55 pmThe App Store tells me there's an update available for my copy of iMovie. However, when I try to download it I'm told it is owned by a different account. I went to the Web page for iMovie and downloaded the update manually. However, when I try to install it I'm told I have to get it through the App Store.
Buh?!
I think what happened is that a few months back Apple made us upgrade our passwords. App Store thinks my account with the new password is a different account, now.
So, how do I get the *BLEEP!*ing update?!
Update: Opening iMovie and selecting Help: Service and Support I'm taken to a Web page which says that Software Update is supposed to handle this for Lion. That the App Store isn't supposed to do the updates until Mountain Lion. I'm using Lion! Software Update says I'm up to date! Yet the App Store says I'm not! AARRGGHH!!
