Had a minor panic this morning. Was preparing to renew my car registration, which in Kentucky includes providing proof of insurance. I keep the POI cards in the cars, so the appropriate one is where I need it if there's an accident or I get pulled over.

I found the *last* insurance period's cards, but not the current ones. Eep!

Searched all over where those cards might be (Did I put them in my wallet, instead?) with no luck. Since I should have had _two_ copies of each card (one for me, one to send for the registration renewal) I was baffled.

Finally thought to open my fireproof records box and check in there. Sure enough, I had stapled the sheet with the tear-off POI cards with the rest of the car insurance papers when I paid last April. Argh...

Ah, well; didn't need 'em until now. On copy of each in envelopes in the mailbox awaiting pickup. The other copies are now each in the appropriate car.

*WHEW!!*
