Flag Design

How does this seem as the flag of a fantasy nation:

To the right was a flag with the four symbols of the Compact: The Cross, the Coronet, the Scales of Justice and the Sword. Representing, respectively, Church, Crown, Court and Courage; that is, the military.

Cuisine Question

Okay, probably fun request here. I want suggestions for stereotypes in re. English food. For example, would people consider "What they don't boil they stew!" to be acceptable?

Stereotypes of French and German food also welcome.

One comment I already have is that the reason Germans are so eager to invade other nations is the hope to get a good meal. :-)
