Help Needed With Religious Terms
Dec. 23rd, 2008 11:56 amOkay, I am working on a fantasy novel (over 70k words now) about a fantasy version of Earth. The nation where most of the action is set has an official Christian religion inspired by some of the actual, historical schisms on the nature of the Trinity. At one point I want someone to use Hebrew names for the three Aspects of the Trinity. So far I have:
The Father = Yah
The Mother = Shekhinah
The Child = ?
I need to know if what I already have is appropriate, and I need a name for the Child. (Note that there is a heated debate about whether that Aspect is Son or Child, and the speaker is deliberately being gender neutral, if that's possible.)
