Sick Again

Bleargh. Not seriously ill, but this bug is persistent. My branch manager told me yesterday he's been fighting it for "weeks." I thought I'd gotten off easy, feeling much better yesterday, but had a relapse overnight. Woke up about 4AM feeling cold and mildly nauseous. Took some medicine, turned the alarm clock off and went back to sleep.

Oddly, my temperature is nearly a degree below normal. Gonna have some nice, hot oatmeal for breakfast. Call in and tell them to count me off with vacation leave today, since I'm running short on sick leave.

And wouldn't you know, it's payday?

May make it in this afternoon. *Have* to make it in tomorrow, to pay bills.
