"Electromagnetic radiation," eh? Sounds like someone read "electromagnets" and got more than a little confused. Unless they're concerned that the waste heat produced by the magnets will bake their brains.
As for the noise, isn't one of the benefits of maglev over wheeled railways that they're inherently quieter?
