I've noticed something in the parking garage where I work. Someone over the age of, say, forty who is backing out of a parking space with a restricted view will ease out until they can see whether something is coming. If something is, they pull back in.

Those under forty but above about twenty-five will ease back until they can see whether something is coming. If there is, and it's close, the stop, forcing the other vehicle to dodge around them. If there is, and it's a few seconds away, they lurch quickly out of the space to keep the other driver from going around them, then take their time getting turned and leaving.

Those under twenty-five simply lurch backwards out of the parking space, and have the nerve to look surprised - and then outraged - at honking horns, squealing brakes and angry reactions.

Speaking for the under 25 group, we're not all like that.
