Getting back into scanning negatives of convention photos. Interestingly, some of my Con Jose (WorldCon 2002) negatives were already scanned. Not sure when or how, or why only a few of them were done, or why those were closely cropped scans of just the main subject instead of the whole frame. The negatives for those images are still in the protective covers, so I didn't do it. Yet, if I had the developer do it, why only a few of them? And why not the full frame?

A mystery for the ages...

Actually, I figured it out. Those images were made by scanning the prints I had made.
