I've been trying to have my fiction published for decades, with minor and aggravating results. I'm wondering if I'm writing on the wrong bark.

For nearly as long, I've been committing exercises in paraphrasing known collectively as The Joy of High Tech. Apparently, I have a knack for clearly and simply explaining things. At least two of my JOHT articles have been cited by WikiPedia, at least one by an aviation museum's page on the F-104, and I keep finding links to - and even illegal copies of - these monologues in Google searches.

Maybe I can find a fiction magazine which could use a long-running fact feature. Especially since some of those linking to my stuff are F/SF worldbuilding sites.

At any rate, the surviving completed articles are posted here: http://www.dcr.net/~stickmak/JOHT/

Surviving completed?

I have all the LOW ORBIT issues if you're missing any that were printed there.

Yeah. Some of the earliest were either paper-only or are on Amiga-formatted diskettes... if they still exist at all.
