Never had that happen. But I did get several calls about an appointment (or was it lab test results?) from a doctor's office a few years back. Only problem was that they were calling for someone else.
Also, the caller ID info wasn't useful in returning the call. And to top it off, they mumbled the part about who was calling!
I think it was the third or fourth call when I managed to actually answer it rather than have the answering machine get it.
You would not believe the time I had getting across to them that they *had* reached then number they were trying to cal (I had them read the number to me) but that the person they wanted to contact didn't live here. And that I'd have the number for *years* so the patient had given them a wrong number.
