Fireworks Memories

Decades ago, when I was in my teens, I bought a batch of bottle rockets "with report" in Tennessee. I didn't realize until later that the fuses for the entire batch had been inserted into the wrong end of the cylinder. The tube with the rocket and report was then simply attached to the stick with the fuse on the bottom, as per usual. The result was that when the fuse reached what should have been the rocket, the thing exploded instead of zooming into the air. Sometimes the launcher (we may have used actual Coke bottles) was even damaged.
