That's three nights in a row with too little sleep.

Sunday night and early Monday morning we had several brief bursts of very intense rain with wind. Tuesday morning we had gusts of wind. I had contractors stopping by both mornings and couldn't just turn the alarm off and sleep in.

This morning, the leak down the chimney into the ceiling over the bedroom near my bed came back after more than a year of welcome absence, about half an hour before the alarm.

It didn't drip during a hard rain. It didn't drip during a hard wind. It's calm outside with just a gentle shower. It only dripped for about ten minutes, and quit after I gave up trying to sleep and got out of bed. There's a slight damp spot on the chimney; nothing on the carpet last I checked.
