A few months back I bought a refurbished, bottom-of-the-line Cruz pad. Thing was just $55 *with* S&H. I intended to use it for showing photos at cons, since it's a lot easier to lug around than my laptop. I hate the thing, and the feeling is apparently mutual.
A friend was using it Friday night to quickly, easily and smoothly flip through photos from multiple cons. This was after I'd struggled to get it to even load the images. Afterwards, it went back to balking every time I tried something.
Finally, Saturday night, it froze on one image. Locked up so hard even the reset button did nothing. It just showed that image and would do nothing else. I put it away to let the battery run completely down.
A few minutes ago - roughly a full day after it locked up - I plugged it in to charge, and it immediately booted normally.
