I've been having some numbness and tingling in my right hand and arm for close to two months. It comes and goes, but there's almost always a residual numbness in my right forefinger. I'm not really surprised; about two months ago I did a lot of work cutting out some old hedges from around the front of my house.

I have a history of both bursitis and nerve damage in my right shoulder, from dislocations, so I figured I'd just done too much sawing. However, the problem wasn't going away. So I saw someone this afternoon.

She thinks it could, indeed, be nerve damage in the shoulder, aggravated by the sawing. She's sending me to physical therapy for a month. However, she's also checking some other alternatives, including carpal tunnel.

So, I'm wearing a wrist brace at night for a while. I also had a blood test, for a couple of vitamins and thyroid.

All my other health problems seem to be in abeyance at the moment, and I'm getting pretty fit. Naturally, something has to be wrong. Hopefully, it's minor.
