Some years ago, while riding around with my uncle Doc,probably going 95+MPH,(in a Datsun Honeybee with a Chevy 305..one of his hobbies was car-building..)a motorcycle went around us as if we were standing still..this guy had to be going 150+mph-some motorcycles right off the factory floor,no modifications, will do nearly 200 mph. Some people just don't want to slow down for anyone or anything. Driving fast isn't necessarily dangerous-depends on location and things, but it's the guy that thinks you can drive fast anywhere,anytime -those are are the scary ones. I was given a radar detector once-didn't really have a need for it, but used it out of curiousity...lot of false triggering. One of the strangest things I've seen is what appeared to be a drunken ambulance driver! The guy was all over the road. I would've called it in if I'd had a cell phone at the time...Scott
