Masked Catfood Thieves
Sep. 30th, 2006 12:05 pmHad to get up a bit after Midnight to chase off a couple of raccoons. I didn't close the cat door last night and they got in the basement, and were bumping the pan the dry cat food is in while eating. Not nearly as noisy as possums, but still enough to wake me.
If they'd just be quiet I wouldn't mind. Raccoons are smart enough to be careful, and with minor precautions on my part (putting the bag of dry cat food in a trash can hung from a floor joist, for example) cause no damage. And they're cute and non-aggressive. But they had to go...
