Date: 2019-10-27 07:46 pm (UTC)That's a big part of the reason nothing has been done to the railroad before. The highway would be equally difficult to lower, due to underground utilities.
So they put up warning signs. Then lights which flash when an overheight vehicle is detected. Then a steel beam to stop overheight vehicles before they can hit the bridge.
