Net10 is Trying to Kill Me
Jul. 9th, 2018 05:21 pmThis is insane. I have been trying to refill my phone plan with NET10 since last week. I would get to the last step, then the Web page would pop up an error message that there was something wrong, without saying what. I tried three different credit cards, and even a different browser. No luck. I finally gave up and called. The robot led me through the same options, except they did not offer the plan I wanted. I hung up and retried. Same problem. I finally told it to go with my second choice. It did so, the transaction went through to the last step, then the robot told me there was a problem. Without saying what.
I called again. This time I managed to get a live person - I think - but I couldn't hear her. I kept saying she was too quiet. She briefly got louder, then went quiet again. Listening hard, I heard her offer the same plans - she had to repeat the options several times for me to hear - except she didn't list either of my choices. I finally just told her to never mind and hung up.
I'm sick; too sick to deal with this now. But I have to! The account ends tomorrow!
