WorldCon Woes

stickmakerI may have to skip WorldCon. I woke in so much pain this morning I called after breakfast (when it was clear the maximum dose of ibuprofen wasn't helping) and saw the Physician's Assistant this afternoon. She believes I injured my sacrum.
Bizarrely, the injury was two weeks ago today, when I lifted something heavy to take out the trash. It wasn't major and was getting better, until last night. Naproxen sodium helped a bit then. This morning, though, I didn't even try it, but went straight to the ibuprofen.
If I'm not better by tomorrow afternoon I'll have to cancel. Worse, I think my airline tickets are non-refundable. :-(
