Why do They do It?

Was driving to Lexington to have my car serviced. On New Circle Road I needed to get in the left lane to turn in at the dealership. Passed a car driving slow in the left lane, put my turn signal on. Driver immediately floored the gas pedal, pulling up to cut me off. Then had the nerve to look surprised when I yelled at her.

If I could have read her license plate (heavy traffic, her going much faster, now, me needing to turn at the next light so I could turn around and go back) I would have called her in to the cops.

This gained her nothing except my enmity. I'm still shaking, she made me so angry. Why did she do this?

I don't understand humans.
