Protecting Your Image Heritage
Apr. 2nd, 2012 12:06 pmI've been scanning my old 35mm negatives lately, and have noticed something. The standard pocketed print and film envelope is not very good protection for the negatives. Even when they're in those plastic sleeves, they fall out easily.
So, I have several envelopes with *no* negatives, and a pile of negatives out of their envelopes.
Even when an envelope has negatives in it, some may be missing, and some or all may not be for that envelope.
Finally, unprotected negatives in envelopes still get dusty and scratched.
