Not Again...

Those of you who follow my LJ or Google+ know my Mother had a heart catheterization and two stents installed this past Tuesday. I took her to Central Baptist in Lexington, my sister met us there, the two of us stayed until she was in recovery, then my sister stayed a few hours while I went home. I brought Mother home Wednesday morning. She's doing fine.

My sister and I aren't doing so well. Somehow, though Tuesday was the first time we were together in weeks, we both contrived to come down with laryngitis at the same time. We were both already sick last Tuesday and I was having voice problems Tuesday. (I actually started having a scratchy throat the Wednesday before, so I hope I didn't give this to anyone at gaming last Saturday.)

So, I'm actually sicker right now than my Mother, who is feeling much better than even just before the surgery, due to the restored blood flow to her heart. (You know it's not good when you get out of breath making your bed. Comforters are surprisingly heavy when you're sick.)

Hopefully, I'll be back amidst the mayhem next Saturday.
