Shooting Stuff
Nov. 8th, 2011 03:25 pmFelt good enough yesterday that I went shooting for the first time in weeks. Took my two 10mm guns - the Ruger New Model Blackhawk Convertible with the 10mm cylinder and the Colt Delta Elite - and just had some fun.
In spite of only wanting to relax at the range in the nice outdoor weather we're currently enjoying I did some good shooting. (More of it was mediocre shooting, but that's life. :-)
I think my best was a five-shot group at fifty meters with four shots in under three inches, nearly centered on the bullseye, the fifth being a called flyer high and right about five inches from center. This was with the revolver, using a 200 grain handload with 7.2 grains of 800-X, in *-* (I think that's Georgia Arms) brass.
