Meat!

My sister knows a commercial farm near her home which offered discounts on frozen beef from earlier in the year to make room for more beef coming in. We went out this afternoon and I bought $205 of steaks, roasts and soup bones, with one package of all beef brots and a package of pork chops.

I lined my car trunk with an old sleeping bag, packed the meat in there nice and snug, socialized for a while (longer than I meant to, actually) and got home with frost still on all the packages except one corner of a top sirloin.

Guess what I'm having for a late supper tonight? :-)
