Sick Cat

Ringtail is doing better. The real test will come tomorrow, when they take the catheter out and see if he blocks again.

On top of everything else, he has an upper respiratory infection. This cat never goes outside. Neither of the other cats has been sick. Did he get it from me? I've been a bit under the weather, too, but by the time he got sick I was over it.

The Cat Came Back!

Ringtail looks about 200% better. They still don't know if he'll re-block after they take the catheter out, so the earliest I could bring him home is probably Thursday.The staff at the vet's office are pleasantly surprised. The vet told me today that yesterday he wasn't sure the cat would last the night, but today he's eating and drinking and even growled at one of the assistants.

If he continues to recover like this, I have absolutely no regrets spending the money I was saving for a new revolver on him instead.
