I've wanted a revolver in .45 Colt literally for decades. I finally bought one yesterday. A Ruger New Vaquero. Just came back from putting 48 rounds through it.
The gun is accurate, especially considering the fixed "cowboy" sights. My best, at 25 yards from a bench rest, was under five inches.
However! The cylinder pin kept working loose. I'll check the instructions. I expect this is simply a matter of adjusting a single screw
The grip is a bit too small for my hands, but there are after market grips which should help with this.
The biggest letdown was the ammunition. The dealer sold me a box of MagTech cowboy action ammunition. Two of the 48 I tried failed to fire.
