Horse Farms
Apr. 16th, 2008 10:26 amA couple of weeks ago my mother called and asked if I'd be interested in going on a tour of several central Kentucky horse farms. My sister had arranged this for Mother's church group, and they had a couple of empty.
Now, my whole family is horse crazy, so I said "Sure!"
Had to get up early (retired man, here) but it was worth it. Beautiful weather, beautiful horses, nice lunch, and since she was in polite company my sister was on good behavior.
I did have a bit of a steep learning curve with my new Sony Alpha 700. Forgot I had left it set to bracket exposures, filled a 4 GB card (My first time!) and missed a couple of good shots because I wasn't expecting that.
