Scheduling Problems
Sep. 10th, 2006 09:40 amWell, it's been changes and mixups all weekend. I was supposed to visit my uncle in Lexington Saturday afternoon. Friday evening I got a call from my sister. My uncle was in the hospital with an eye infection, and she'd been asked to both relay that to me and invite me to a family dinner of her brood and some relatives who had come to also visit my uncle.
We had a good meal, and tour of my sister's farm in Woodford county. However, this made me late for gaming... which ended early, anyway, because the GM had to be at work by 11 (so I'm not the only one dealing with schedule changes).
As we finished up for the week I asked how many would be at today's LexFA meeting, which I was looking forward to because I wanted to meet the new members who had said they were attending. That's when I found out that the meeting was on Saturday, and I'd missed it. (Well, I couldn't have attended, anyway, with my other obligations.)
So I've got Sunday unexpectedly free, and am planning to catch up on a bunch of stuff, including processing and posting convention photos.
