Trek Music

I still think the music of the original _Star Trek_ series was the best. This isn't just nostalgia. Besides having good composers, conductors and musicians, they recorded music for episodes in a way which would be prohibitively expensive for most TV shows these days. The video would be projected on a screen behind the orchestra, and the conductor would watch what was happening as he guided the orchestra into making appropriate sounds.
