I am severely boggled at the doublethink of conservative ministers who claim that the federal government canceling tax-exempt status for a church which participates in politics is a violation of the separation of church and state.

There's a coalition who say they plan to speak for and against specific candidates, and if the IRS follows the law take the case all the way to the Supreme Court. Ignoring the fact that the US Supreme Court has repeatedly - and even recently - decided cases the other way.

Does it never occur to such people that every time politics and religion mix the result is politicized religion?
