Stupid Marketer Trickes
May. 29th, 2007 02:27 pmAs I was paying for my groceries at Kroger's this afternoon, I noticed that they now have an automated DVD rental machine named Movie Cube. Which is shaped like a giant soda machine. In other words, not in any way cube-like unless you do some cutting.
I asked why it was called Movie Cube when it wasn't a cube. The only people who got it were a pair of employees who were even older than me. The woman just laughed; the man made a snide remark about someone being paid good money to come up with the name.
