Jun. 11th, 2010 10:22 amMy TV is ATSC/QAM compliant. My new DVD recorder is ATSC/QAM compliant. I just found out they assign different DVT channel numbers to the same channel.
I had already figured out where some of the channels I want are in the new numbering system. On the TV. And set the DVD recorder appropriately. And got two hours of blank.
Just now went through and figured out what the channel I wanted is on the new recorder and changed that in the programming. Fortunately, I don't record all that many different channels.
I have the impression the entire industry has an "You're making me do this so I'm deliberately going to do a bad job." attitude about the changeover to all digital signals.
