Traumatic Experience

I tried doing this over the phone first, but the signal dropped and I missed part of the instructions. I got caught in a loop where it kept complaining I hadn't entered a code, when I was in the wrong part of the phone menu because of the missed instruction. There was no way offered to retreat and get the needed info. So I just hung up and tried online.
However, apparently because I had gotten partway through the process on the phone, it wouldn't accept the code the site gave me. Finally, the online procedure gave me the opportunity to ask the phone what was wrong, and then gave me several long strings of numbers to enter to fix the problem. Only then would the phone accept the new code. (Good thing I do data entry for a living.)
