Camera Woes

My brand-new Sony Alpha digital SLR is going in for repairs.

I bought a new Compact Flash card, inserted it, tested it. Worked fine. I took the new card out and put the old card in. Camera wouldn't come on. Put the new card in. Camera wouldn't come on.

Looking deep into the card socket, I saw one pin bent over flat. So flat I couldn't get under it to pry it back up.

So, off to Sony it goes.

Argh...

For the love of god, don't tell Sony that you put a non-Sony card in it. They have a real rep for invalidating warranties over crap like that.
