If you are part of a society, you have access to the benefits being a member of that society provides. That's part of the unwritten but very real social contract.

As part of this same social contract, members must not act in a manner which harms the society. That includes performing actions which individuals might consider inconvenient or even inhibiting. If they wish to remain part of the society and enjoy the benefits of membership they must do those things. If they don't, in a worst case scenario the society will cease to exist.
