Under the Weather
Sep. 15th, 2006 06:52 amThere's definitely an allergy component to my long-term gut problems. I had speculated on this with my allergist, who told me there actually used to be a medicine specifically to treat intestinal allergy complications, but it never took off and was withdrawn from the market due to lack of demand.
So, I know to try oral allergy medicine when I'm feelin' poorly. The problem is that most of these have decongestants in them, and oral decongestants raise my blood pressure.
