I'm So Tired...

stickmakerQuoting the Beatles' song, there. I'm actually sleepy, rather than tired. So sleepy that as my grandma used to say I don't have good sense. I just hope this is coherent.
I deliberately put off going to bed last night, hoping that would let the storms pass. Unfortunately, for some time after I finally crashed there was still occasional loud thunder. Sometimes _very_ loud.
Despite this I woke up a little after 7:00 and never really got back to sleep. Don't know how much sleep I actually got, but right now I don't feel competent to drive.
Napping is likely not an option. They're going around the neighborhood with utility trucks, dump trucks, excavation equipment and wood grinders, cleaning up from yesterday.
I also really need to catch up on several things I meant to do online yesterday, including buy my sister's b-day gift. Even if I manage a nap, I know from experience that the recovery that provides wears off quickly.
So, staying home today, skipping gaming.
