Retirement Approacheth...

I had my bi-annual performance review yesterday. When I mentioned that I only had one more of these to go before my planned retirement date, my manager got a worried look on his face. He said they may have to make substantial changes to their methodology after I leave. Nice bit of egoboo.

I teased him a bit by letting him know that when I had transferred into that section a few years before, my previous manager wound up hiring two people to replace me. :-)
