Ford Motor Company has decided to prove that the success of the new Mustang really was just a fluke by having their lawyers send threatening letters to every company with "Mustang" in the name. Said letters instruct the recipient to cease and desist immediately; to send Ford a Very Large Check for damages; and to ship all letterhead paper, flyers and in-house materials with "Mustang" printed on them to Ford for proper disposal.

No word, yet, on how many of the targets of this action actually have nothing to do with cars...

This is reminding me about the corporation that tried to do something similar with the word "fandom." Didn't work for them; doubt it will work for Ford, either.
