VHS to DVD
Oct. 22nd, 2009 10:00 amI just finished dubbing _King of the Rocketmen_ to DVD. Notable for many things, including pre-Lone Ranger Clayton Moore as a heavy. The same tape (and now DVD) has _Zombies of the Stratosphere_, featuring a very young Leonard Nimoy as an alien.
In the week and a bit since I got this Toshiba twin-format recorder I've copied more tapes to DVD than in the previous three months. Making very quick progress, and tossing a lot of tapes.

Date: 2009-10-23 12:10 am (UTC)I fondly recall Zombies of the Stratosphere from a late night movie show on local TV 30 years ago.
at some point I need to transfer my old Beta tapes to DVD. Especially the one from the time Showtime ran Failsafe and Dr. Strangelove back-to-back. That one will get recorded as one continuous rip, complete with commercials and everything just to prove that they actually did it. :-)
