Fantasy Novel
Aug. 24th, 2009 03:51 pmThose of you who know about the fantasy novel I'm writing, know I've been searching for a publication title. The working title is _Academy_, since most of it takes place in an isolated and government-supported school which trains magic users.
The premise of the background is that the empire of Charlemagne stayed together and grew, until a religious schism a few centuries back. The school is in the nation of the Compact.
Because of this I am considering the publication title _Descendants of Empire_. Opinions?

And the reason is, if you ever actually sell this thing, it's possible that the title may change in transit anyway. As long as you have something to call it, it's all good. Call it whatever feels most appropriate to you. (I'm not terribly thrilled with a couple of my working titles either, but they're better than calling them SF Novel #1 and SF Novel #2.)
