Holding Her Own
Jul. 8th, 2014 12:11 pmMotley - my 15 year old cat with cancer - is still holding her own.
Her weight remains steady at a worryingly scrawny ~7 lbs., she eats and drinks and handles the basement steps with no apparent problem, and still frequently pesters me for attention.
The tumors don't seem to be getting any larger or more numerous (though there's already many of them, and some are large). The largest external tumor - on her left foreleg above the foot - appears to be dissolving. It has what I at first thought was an ulcer, but now over a third of the tumor is gone. I'm keeping it clean and dabbed with antibiotic ointment, despite her protests.
