Okay, What is Going On, Here?
Dec. 7th, 2012 10:12 amI tried logging into YouTube last night, and it kept insisting that my login ID (which has never been an e-mail addy) was a gmail account I don't have, and refusing to accept my actual account ID and password. I eventually got this reset. Thanks to it having my actual e-mail account addy in my personal info.
This morning, Google+ would not accept my password, saying it was changed last night.
NO IT WASN'T! I changed my YouTube (still not an e-mail addy) ID and password back to what they were supposed to be.
This morning, Google+ wouldn't let me reset my password for it to what it was, either; I had to use a new one. A *different* one from what I use for YouTube, thank you! That's called "Internet security"!
Update:
Well, I finally got an explanation for all the password trouble last night: Please use your Google Account (StickmakerSmith@gmail.com) password to sign in. We no longer support signing in with your old YouTube password.
Except that's not my Google log-in ID! No wonder I didn't know what they were talking about!
